30hands Academy

Services – What We Do

Professional Development does not happen in a 1-hour or even a 1-day workshop. That only wets your whistle which will dry out quickly. 30hands Learning’s professional development courses are geared toward spending enough time with the subject-matter to let the learning really soak in. But time alone is not enough, so we add 2 critical ingredients: hands-on learning + collaboration.

30hands Learning is kicking off 2015 with a learning academy of 2 teacher cohorts. One cohort will focus on teaching Computer Programming concepts to students and the other will focus on teaching Entrepreneurship skills to students. Each track will include Design Thinking concepts and learning how to teach by doing and by collaborating. Both learning tracks will run concurrently, and there should be an opportunity for collaboration between the cohorts in addition to within the cohort.

30hands Learning helps teachers and administrators learn how to use blended learning and technology in the school environment through custom solutions in professional development. We design the perfect series of hands-on, experiential workshops to help your staff be effective in creating digital curriculums, engaging students in technology and meeting the ISTE NETS standards.
